Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with at least five years of experience in the Federal contracting space and strong technical writing skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with business development leads, project managers, and technical teams to analyze business needs and support the development of proposals that address government solicitation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for Federal contracts, ensuring alignment with compliance and regulatory standards.
- Gather technical information via interviews, research, and legacy document review, translating complex data into accessible, engaging content. Develop clear, concise, and detailed documentation, including requirements documents, white papers, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and manage technical responses to Sources Sought, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs), ensuring compliance with government guidelines and effectively communicating capabilities and solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, government officials, and internal teams to facilitate requirement gathering and solution development.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in Federal contract execution.
- Analyze data trends to support decision-making and strategic planning within Federal programs.
- Develop and manage solicitation documents, including SBIR grant applications and government funding proposals.
- Update and maintain one-pagers, capability statements, and internal documentation to reflect current competencies and offerings.
- Generate capability matrix from Statement of Work or Performance Work Statement and analyze data from potential teammates.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a Federal contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Federal procurement processes, FAR/DFARS regulations, and government compliance.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills focused on clarity and accuracy.
- Proven experience in technical writing, including the ability to create structured documentation for Federal audiences.
- Hands-on experience with business process modeling, workflow analysis, and requirements management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to write compelling, compliant, and persuasive content for Federal solicitations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, or similar).
- Ability to quickly learn and write about emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud architecture, and advanced cybersecurity solutions.
- Experience supporting IT modernization, cloud migration, cybersecurity, or data analytics projects is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
