  • Build and refine analytics tools, models, and monitoring capabilities to evaluate system performance and data integrity
  • Prepare clear reports, visualizations, and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to data governance, compliance, and security practices, particularly in support of sensitive and mission-critical environments
  • Stay current on emerging data science methods, technologies, and best practices relevant to defense and large-scale data operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a Data Scientist or closely related role
  • Hands-on experience working with distributed key-value store databases, particularly technologies such as Apache Accumulo
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, especially in large-scale data environments
  • Experience with big data tools and ecosystems such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
  • Demonstrated success applying machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques to large, complex datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize and interpret significant amounts of data with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
  • Active Top Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:
